Short answer. Telegram subscribers arrive by a short list of routes Telegram documents: the owner's first 200 invitations, Telegram search, public and invite links, forwards, Similar Channels, shared folders, sponsored messages and giveaways. Past 200, every subscriber has to press Join. Most apps to increase Telegram subscribers sell joins by accounts, which Telegram's API page answers with "banned forever".
The first page of results for this search, read on 14 October 2026, is lists: ten tips, twelve strategies, a paragraph each on content quality and cross-promotion. Several repeat a 200-member figure with a note to check whether the figure still applies, and none links the Telegram page the figure comes from. No result states what Telegram's own statistics screen counts as a source of new followers, or what changes for a channel at 200, 500 and 1,000 Telegram subscribers.
This guide works the other way round. It lists every route by which a subscriber or a group member can arrive, quotes the Telegram page that describes the route, and states the ceiling beside it. Telegram pages were read on 14 October 2026 unless another date is given. Where Telegram publishes nothing, the guide says so, which is the editorial standard behind these guides. No number of Telegram subscribers is promised anywhere on this page.
Where Telegram subscribers come from
Telegram subscribers come from ten documented routes, and only one of them lets the owner act without the reader pressing a button: the first 200 invitations. Every other route ends with a person choosing Join. Anyone asking how to get telegram subscribers is choosing among the routes in the table below, each with a ceiling Telegram has written down.
| Route | Who acts | Telegram's wording | Ceiling or condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Owner invitation | The owner | "you may invite the first 200 subscribers" (Channels FAQ) | 200, then "the channel is on its own" |
| Telegram search | The reader | "Anyone can find them in Telegram search and join" (Channels FAQ) | Public channels only; ranking is not published |
| Public link outside Telegram | The reader | "post this link on social networks, advertise it in magazines" (Channels FAQ) | Needs a username |
| Invite link | The reader | "bring 1 or 1 million people" (blog, 23 February 2021) | Optional expiry, use limit and admin approval |
| Forwards and post links | Existing subscribers | "a handy Share Button next to it" (Channels tour page) | Post links need a public channel |
| Similar Channels | Telegram | "selected automatically based on similarities in their subscriber bases" (blog, 30 November 2023) | Public channels only; no way to apply |
| Shared folder | Another admin or curator | "instantly join all its chats" (blog, 21 April 2023) | Public chats, or chats where the sharer may add people |
| Comments | The reader | "a comment button for each post" (Channels FAQ) | Needs a linked discussion group |
| Sponsored message | The advertiser pays | "The minimum CPM for a sponsored message is 0.1 Toncoin" (Ad Platform) | Shown in public channels with 1000+ subscribers |
| Premium giveaway | The owner pays | "promote your channel, get new subscribers or reward existing ones" (blog, 6 November 2023) | Premium subscriptions paid in advance |
Three questions sit behind most searches. How can i get subscribers on telegram at all: by making the channel public and putting its link where interested people already are. How to get subscribers on telegram channel pages that are private: by invite link only, since the Channels FAQ calls private channels "closed societies". And how to gain telegram subscribers who stay: the same FAQ points at the archive, because "New subscribers can see the entire message history in a channel once they join."
The audience exists. Telegram's Ad Platform page says "Every month, 1 billion Telegram users generate 1 trillion views in public broadcast channels." To get subscribers for telegram channel pages of any size, the channel has to be reachable from one of the ten routes.
Telegram's statistics record which route new Telegram subscribers took. The Channels tour page says an admin can track how people "found your channel – from Telegram search, by following a link, etc.", and the statistics API carries the same split as a graph called new_followers_by_source_graph. A growth plan that cannot say which of those sources it is feeding is a list of hopes.
How to get subscribers on my Telegram channel: the first 200
The owner can add the first 200 Telegram subscribers directly, and no more. Telegram's Channels FAQ says: "As the channel's owner, you may invite the first 200 subscribers to your channel. Once the subscriber count reaches 200, the channel is on its own." The plain answer to how do i get subscribers on my telegram channel begins with people who already know the owner.
The 200 are meant to be contacts who would have joined anyway. A person added without being asked can leave and report, and the Spam FAQ applies the spam rule to "adding people to unwanted groups and channels". An account limited after such reports can still write to people who have its number saved, which is the situation described in the mutual-contacts restriction on Telegram.
Software cannot extend the 200. The API method that adds users to a channel is marked "Only users can use this method", so no bot token can run the call; that is why a member add bot has no add call behind its name. What a bot can do is issue and track links, set out in what an invite member bot does with a link.
Searches for how to get telegram channel subscribers, or how to get telegram channel members, past the first 200 therefore have one answer: links, search and other people's posts. Each documented route for adding members has its own guide, with the error names an operator sees when an add is refused.
Telegram search, public links and the web
A channel becomes findable when the channel is public. The Channels FAQ says public channels have a username and "Anyone can find them in Telegram search and join", and the Channels tour page adds that their contents "can be seen on the Web without a Telegram account and are indexed by search engines". A private channel has neither surface.
Newly created channels start as private, according to the same tour page. The first step in how to get more subscribers on telegram channel search is therefore a setting: edit the profile, choose Public and pick a username. The username becomes a t.me link, and the FAQ's advice on that link is unusually relaxed: "you can post this link on social networks, advertise it in magazines, or tattoo it on your back."
Telegram does not publish how search orders its results. No Telegram page lists ranking factors, and no page says subscriber count is one of them. Guides that explain how to get more followers on telegram channel search by repeating keywords in the title are describing their own tests. What is documented is narrower: a searcher sees the name, the username and the description, and Global Search returns public chats by username.
The web is the second surface. Since 31 May 2019 any public channel can be opened in a browser through its preview page, and every post in a public channel has its own t.me link. A post that answers a question people type into a search engine can bring a reader who has never opened Telegram search. That is the least discussed answer to how to increase followers on telegram channel pages: write posts that stand alone.
Existing subscribers are the third surface. The tour page describes "a handy Share Button" beside each post, and a forwarded post carries the channel's name back with it. For an owner asking how to get more subscribers on my telegram channel without spending, forwards are the one route that scales with the audience already there.
Comments lower the cost of a first interaction. The question of how to get more members in telegram channel comment threads has a documented answer: link a discussion group, and each post gets a comment button. The API documentation notes that a user can comment "without joining the actual discussion supergroup". Whether commenters later become Telegram subscribers is not something Telegram reports.
How to increase Telegram channel subscribers you can trace to a source
Named invite links are the documented way to see which placement produced a join. Telegram's post of 23 February 2021 says admins can "see which users joined using each invite link to find out where new members came from or which format has been most effective for growth". Any plan for how to increase telegram channel subscribers starts with one link per placement.
Additional links can carry "a limited duration, number of uses, or both". Since 3 November 2021 each link can also have a unique name and a Request Admin Approval switch. The Bot API exposes the same object, with a link name of 0-32 characters and a member_limit between 1 and 99999. Any link converts to a QR code, which the 2021 post suggests for "everything from brochures to billboards".
A worked example, with illustrative figures. A channel owner creates three links named site-footer, newsletter and partner-post. After 30 days the links show 41, 96 and 212 joins. The telegram subscribers increase for the month is 349, and the owner knows that one partner post produced 61% of it. Without named links the same month reads as a single number.
The statistics screen adds what links cannot. The API's channel statistics report followers, views_per_post, shares_per_post, the percentage of subscribers with enabled_notifications, a mute graph and new followers by source. A telegram channel members increase that arrives with flat views per post and a rising mute graph is a count that grew while the readership did not. The owner asking how to increase my telegram channel subscribers should read both screens together.
A bot extends attribution past the join. Deep links pass a parameter of "up to 64 characters" to a bot when a person starts it, and a bot that administers the channel can receive the invite link each new member used. A greeting, a source tag and a consented contact list are the usual build under Telegram bot development and automation. Telegram's update of 25 August 2026 also introduced native "Welcome Messages to greet new members of groups or channels".
Pages that promise to increase telegram channel subscribers overnight skip this step, because a bought block of Telegram subscribers has no source to name. For the practical question of how to increase telegram channel members, and how to increase your telegram channel members month after month, attribution is what turns a guess into a budget line.
How to get 1k subscribers on Telegram: what changes at 200, 500 and 1,000
A thousand Telegram subscribers is the one count Telegram attaches money to. Public channels with 1000+ subscribers are where sponsored messages are displayed, and since 31 March 2024 their owners can receive 50% of that ad revenue. How to get 1k subscribers on telegram is therefore a question about 800 people pressing Join after the owner's 200 invitations run out.
| Size | What changes | Where Telegram says so |
|---|---|---|
| New channel | Starts private; the owner edits the profile to make the channel public | Channels tour page |
200 subscribers | The owner can no longer add subscribers directly | Channels FAQ |
| "more than 500" subscribers | Advanced statistics, including how readers found the channel | Channels tour page; the API page says only "a certain size" |
1000 subscribers, public | Sponsored messages are displayed; the owner can receive 50% of the ad revenue | Ad Platform, Getting Started; blog, 31 March 2024 |
| Any boost level | The channel can start a Premium giveaway | Blog, 6 November 2023 |
Group of 100 | Admins can hide the member list | Sample configuration, API config page |
| Group "over 200 members" | Aggressive Anti-Spam can be switched on | Blog, 6 December 2022 |
Group near 200,000 | Can convert to a Broadcast Group with "unlimited members" | Blog, 23 February 2021 |
The arithmetic is plain and the inputs are not published. If an illustrative 5 in every 100 people who open a channel link press Join, 800 joins need 16,000 link opens. Telegram publishes no conversion benchmark, so the 5 is a placeholder; the owner's own named links supply the real figure within a few weeks.
How to get 1k subscribers on telegram for free is possible in the literal sense: the first eight routes in the opening table carry no fee. Free routes cost time and depend on having something worth forwarding. The shortcut sellers offer, a block of accounts that closes the gap to 1,000, lands inside the Content Creator Rewards terms, where "invalid or fake impressions" are invalid activity and Telegram may "partially or fully withhold your rewards". What a bought-subscriber order delivers is read account type by account type in its own guide.
One figure in the table has two versions. The Channels tour page says "Advanced statistics are available for channels with more than 500 subscribers." The API page says statistics are open to channels "of a certain size" and that "the exact limit is a server-side config". Both pages were read on 14 October 2026. The second wording leaves Telegram free to change the number without editing the first page.
Free Telegram channel subscribers: the routes that cost nothing
Free telegram channel subscribers come from the first eight routes in the opening table: the owner's 200 invitations, Telegram search, public links, invite links, forwards, Similar Channels, shared folders and comments. None carries a fee. A guide to how to get free telegram channel subscribers that names a ninth, such as a credit app or a member generator, is describing accounts and not readers.
Similar Channels is the route owners control least. Telegram's post of 30 November 2023 says the list shown after a person joins a channel contains "only public channels", and that they are "selected automatically based on similarities in their subscriber bases". The sample configuration on Telegram's API page shows 10 recommendations for an account without Premium and 100 with it. A channel cannot apply to be listed.
Shared folders are the documented form of cross-promotion. Since 21 April 2023 a chat folder can be shared by link, and "With one tap, they will add the folder and instantly join all its chats." The sharer can include "any public chats", so several owners in one niche can agree on a folder and each share it. The sample configuration allows 3 share links per folder for an account without Premium and lets such an account hold 2 shared folders, so a reader's folder slots are scarce.
Searches for a free telegram channel subscribers increase, a free telegram subscribers increase or a free telegram members increase mostly lead to exchange schemes. An app credits an account for joining other people's channels and spends the credits on joins to the owner's channel. The joins are incentivised. Telegram's Ad Platform guidelines list "Incentivized or automated clicks" among services that cannot be advertised, and the Bot Developer terms name "Social growth manipulation" as a forbidden use case.
The useful reading of how to get more subscribers on telegram for free is a schedule: a fixed posting rhythm that gives a visitor a reason to stay. Posts can be queued ahead, and scheduling Telegram posts in advance has documented limits of its own. Owners who ask how to increase telegram channel subscribers free of charge, or how to increase telegram subscribers free of a marketing budget, usually need that queue more than a new tactic.
How to increase telegram channel members for free comes down to the same eight routes for a paid community and a hobby channel alike. What separates one channel's Telegram subscribers from another's is the archive a visitor finds on arrival.
Boost Telegram channel subscribers: what a boost is on Telegram
On Telegram a boost is a specific feature, and a boost adds no Telegram subscribers. The API documentation says "Telegram Premium users can grant their favorite channels and supergroups additional features like the ability to post stories by giving them boosts." Pages that offer to boost telegram channel subscribers use the word loosely, for any increase in the count.
Real boosts raise a channel's level. The sample configuration puts the maximum channel level at 100, and an account without Premium gets the error PREMIUM_ACCOUNT_REQUIRED when it tries to boost. A higher level opens features such as stories for the channel. Whether stories bring subscribers is not measured anywhere in Telegram's documentation.
Giveaways are where boosts and Telegram subscribers meet. Telegram's post of 6 November 2023 presents a giveaway as "great if you want to promote your channel, get new subscribers or reward existing ones". The organiser pays in advance for Telegram Premium subscriptions and can make "only new subscribers" eligible, and the channel earns 4 boosts for every subscription given out. The sample configuration caps a giveaway at 2678400 seconds, which is 31 days, and at 10 countries.
Entrants join for a prize, so some leave after the draw. Telegram publishes no retention figure for giveaway joins. The Terms of Service, read on 13 October 2026, add that channels which mislead users into joining through giveaways "later refunded with a third party" may be terminated or given a scam label.
For the loose sense of the word, the answer is the rest of this guide. How to boost telegram channel subscribers, how to boost my telegram channel subscribers and how to boost telegram channel subscribers for free are the same question as how to grow the count, and the free routes above are the full list. Offers to boost telegram subscribers or boost telegram channel members by the thousand for a fee are orders for accounts. How to boost telegram subscribers for free through a "booster" app is the exchange scheme again.
Apps to increase Telegram subscribers: five kinds, sorted
Apps to increase Telegram subscribers fall into five kinds: Telegram's own screens, bots built on the Bot API, third-party analytics and catalogue sites, exchange apps, and adder software or panels. The first two work with real readers. The last two raise the counter with accounts, and Telegram's API page says faking subscriber counters gets the user "banned forever".
| Kind of app | What the app does | Telegram document | Does a reader press Join? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Telegram's own app | Invite Links, Statistics, Giveaways and Discussion settings | Telegram blog posts, 2019 to 2023 | Yes |
| Bots on the Bot API | Greet joiners, approve join requests, tag the source link | "Bots can't start conversations with users" (bot introduction) | Yes; the bot handles people who arrive and cannot fetch new ones |
| Analytics and catalogue sites | List public channels and chart their counts | None; they are not Telegram products | Yes, as one more place for a link |
| Exchange and "free subscriber" apps | Credit accounts for joining other channels | Ad guidelines 5.11; Bot Developer terms, "Social growth manipulation" | A person joins for credits, then mutes or leaves |
| Adder software and SMM panels | Log in with user accounts through the API and join or add in bulk | API page: "faking subscriber and view counters" | No |
Ranking pages for apps to increase telegram subscribers mix these kinds freely. A giveaway widget, a subscription-management bot and a link-in-bio page appear beside member packages, as if all five did one job. The test is who presses Join. If the answer is the app, the count is being faked.
"If you use the Telegram API for flooding, spamming, faking subscriber and view counters of channels, you will be banned forever."Telegram, Creating your Telegram Application (core.telegram.org/api/obtaining_api_id)
Bots deserve a precise description, because the word is used for everything. Telegram's bot introduction says: "Bots can't start conversations with users. A user must either add them to a group or send them a message first." A bot cannot go and find Telegram subscribers. A bot can approve join requests when it holds the can_invite_users right, and the Bots FAQ caps what a bot posts in a group: "bots are not be able to send more than 20 messages per minute".
The grey end of the app market sells more than joins. Paid chatter in other people's groups is taken apart in what a shill bot posts and who carries the ban. Member lists harvested for adding are narrower than sellers say, as what a Telegram scraper can read shows. The same menus often list mass report bot offers aimed at a competing channel, a different product with the same account risk.
How to grow a Telegram group: members add, subscribers only join
A group grows by a lever channels lack: members can add people. Telegram's FAQ says of groups, "You can add your contacts, or using search by username", and puts the size at "up to 200,000 members". How to grow telegram group numbers without reports still comes down to invitations people expect, because the Spam FAQ treats unwanted adds like unwanted messages.
| Lever | Channel | Group |
|---|---|---|
| Adding people directly | The owner, first 200 only | Members can add their contacts |
| Public address | A username and t.me link | "a short link for your group", supergroups only |
| Size | "an unlimited number of subscribers" | "up to 200,000 members", then a Broadcast Group |
| Statistics | Followers, views per post, new followers by source | Members, messages, viewers, posters, top inviters |
| Bot posting cap | None stated per channel | 20 messages per minute in a group |
How to add more members to telegram group chats is in Telegram's FAQ as a menu path: "Group Info > Add Member > Invite to Group via Link". A group that wants a readable address has to be a supergroup, since the API page on invite links says "Only supergroups and channels may have a public usernames". Public groups then appear in search as public channels do.
Owners who ask how to grow my telegram group usually have a channel already. Linking the group as the channel's discussion group is the documented bridge: since 31 May 2019 each new channel post is "automatically forwarded to and pinned in the discussion group". That is the cleanest way to increase telegram group members from an audience that already chose the channel.
Group statistics show who is doing the inviting. Supergroup statistics report members, messages, viewers and posters, plus a list of top inviters. A telegram group members increase produced by three accounts in one afternoon looks nothing like one spread across forty members' invitations, and the screen shows the difference. For how to increase members in telegram group chats without a trail of reports, the second pattern is the one to aim for.
Size brings its own switches. The sample configuration lets admins hide the member list once a group has 100 participants, and Telegram's post of 6 December 2022 offers Aggressive Anti-Spam to "groups with over 200 members". A group close to 200,000 can convert to a Broadcast Group, where "only admins can send messages". Advice on how to grow your telegram group, or to grow telegram group activity ahead of headcount, should include turning those switches on before the spam arrives.
The generic searches, how to get telegram members and how to increase telegram members, cover both formats. The split matters because the word members hides two different permissions. A plan to increase telegram members through member-to-member invitations works in a group and does nothing in a channel.
How to grow a Telegram channel fast: the routes Telegram sells
The fast routes are the paid ones, and Telegram sells two: sponsored messages and Premium giveaways. How to grow telegram channel fast, in documented terms, means buying views of an ad among people who already read similar channels, then letting each viewer decide. Neither product promises a number of Telegram subscribers, and Telegram's Ad Platform terms set no deadline for ad review.
A sponsored message is text of up to 160 characters with a Telegram link, placed in channels the advertiser names. The Getting Started page says "The minimum CPM for a sponsored message is 0.1 Toncoin" and that "Ads are displayed in public channels with 1000+ subscribers"; the platform's front page, read the same day, says payment is made in Gram. Telegram's published advertising figures are collected in a separate guide.
Paid posts in other channels are the third fast route and the least documented. Telegram does not sell them and publishes no rate card; each owner sets a price. Buyers judge the seller's statistics screen, views per post against subscribers, before paying. Vetting those screens is much of what a Telegram ads agency is paid for.
The phrase telegram channel grow, typed into a search engine, also returns sellers of a fourth fast route that is not growth. Paid routes that hold are the ones where a person saw an ad and pressed Join. Planning them against a budget, with a named link for each placement, is the core of a Telegram channel growth service.
How to grow a Telegram channel organically: an order of work
How to grow telegram channel organically is a sequence more than a list of tips: make the channel findable, give visitors a reason to stay, place links where the audience already is, then measure. Each step uses a feature Telegram documents. The steps below take a new public channel through its first month; the pace depends on the niche and is not something Telegram publishes.
-
Make the channel public and readable in ten seconds
Choose a username, write a description that says what is posted and how often, and pin one post that shows the best of the archive. Search and the web preview both start from those three fields.
-
Invite the people who asked
Use the owner's 200 invitations on contacts who expect the invitation. An early subscriber who mutes the channel on day one is worth less than an empty slot.
-
Publish on a rhythm
Queue a week of posts so that a visitor finds a recent one whenever they arrive. A channel with a visible rhythm gives each new subscriber a reason not to leave.
-
Create one named link per placement
Website footer, email signature, each social profile, each printed QR code. Thirty-two characters of link name is enough to say where the link lives.
-
Open comments
Link a discussion group under Channel Settings > Discussion. Admins can require commenters to join the group first; leaving that off keeps the first comment cheap.
-
Trade placements with neighbouring channels
Agree a shared folder or an exchange of posts with channels whose readers overlap. Give each partner a named link, so that the exchange can be judged on joins and not on goodwill.
-
Read the statistics once they open
Compare new followers by source with the named links, and views per post with the follower count. Drop the placements that produced joins and no views.
Readers who arrive asking how to grow my telegram channel often expect a tactic at step one. The order matters more. How to grow your telegram channel in month two is step seven applied to month one's numbers. For the owner asking how can i grow my telegram channel on two hours a week, steps three and four are the ones that keep working unattended.
What Telegram does not publish about subscriber growth
Telegram documents the routes by which Telegram subscribers arrive and almost none of the rates. No Telegram page gives a search ranking factor, a Similar Channels threshold, a typical join rate or a safe number of links to share per day. Guides that state such numbers are reporting their own experience or a vendor's. The gaps below were checked against Telegram's pages on 14 October 2026.
- No search ranking factors. Nothing says how Global Search orders public channels, or whether the count of Telegram subscribers plays a part.
- No Similar Channels criteria. The only description is "similarities in their subscriber bases". No minimum size, age or activity level is given.
- No firm statistics threshold. The tour page says more than 500; the API page says a server-side config.
- No conversion or retention benchmark. Telegram publishes no join rate per link open and no share of giveaway entrants who stay.
- No report threshold. The Spam FAQ describes the outcome of reports for sharing links with strangers and gives no count.
- No rate card for posts in other channels. Telegram prices only its own sponsored messages.
- No definition of an active subscriber. Statistics report views, shares and notification settings; "active" is a seller's word.
When Telegram growth does not work
Telegram growth fails in three recognisable cases: the audience is not on Telegram, the channel offers nothing a visitor cannot get elsewhere, or the goal is a number for a pitch deck. No route on this page fixes those. A larger count of Telegram subscribers who never open a post lowers the view rate that every advertiser and reader can see.
Geography is the first limit. Telegram's ad page counts 1 billion monthly users, and they are not spread evenly across countries or professions. A business whose customers use another messenger will spend less by going there. Format is the second limit: a channel broadcasts one way, so a product that needs a conversation belongs in a group or a bot.
The law above the platform is the third. Promotional messages sent to people who did not ask for them fall under consent rules in many jurisdictions, whatever Telegram permits. In the United States, 16 CFR 465.8 makes it an unfair or deceptive practice to buy "fake indicators of social media influence", a term that covers followers and subscribers, where the buyer knew or should have known they were fake and uses them to misrepresent influence for a commercial purpose. This paragraph describes published rules and is not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions
How can I get subscribers on Telegram?
Make the channel public so it has a username and appears in Telegram search, invite up to 200 people who expect the invitation, and place the channel link where the audience already is. Telegram's Channels FAQ says the owner may invite the first 200 subscribers, after which the channel is on its own. Every later subscriber presses Join.
How to get 1k subscribers on Telegram for free?
Use the routes that carry no fee: the owner's 200 invitations, Telegram search, public and invite links, forwards, Similar Channels, shared folders and comments. That leaves 800 people who must press Join themselves. Telegram publishes no join-rate benchmark, so named invite links are the way to learn which placement is producing joins.
Are there apps to increase Telegram subscribers?
Five kinds exist. Telegram's own app has invite links, statistics and giveaways. Bots can greet joiners and approve join requests but cannot start conversations with users. Catalogue sites list public channels. Exchange apps and adder software raise the counter with accounts, and Telegram's API page says faking subscriber counters gets the user banned forever.
Does boosting a Telegram channel add subscribers?
No. On Telegram a boost is given by a Telegram Premium user and raises the channel's level, which opens features such as stories. A boost does not add Telegram subscribers. Giveaways are the one place the two meet: the channel earns 4 boosts for each Premium subscription given out, and entrants must subscribe.
How to add more members to a Telegram group?
Members can add their own contacts, and Telegram's FAQ gives the link path as Group Info, Add Member, Invite to Group via Link. A supergroup can also take a public username. Groups hold up to 200,000 members. The Spam FAQ applies the spam rule to adding people to unwanted groups, so invitations should go to people who expect them.
How long does it take to grow a Telegram channel?
Telegram publishes no growth rate, join rate or retention figure, so any timetable is an estimate. The documented fixed points are counts, not dates: the owner's invitations stop at 200, the Channels tour page puts advanced statistics above 500 subscribers, and sponsored messages and the 50% revenue share apply to public channels with at least 1000 subscribers.
Can I send my Telegram channel link to people I do not know?
Telegram's Channels FAQ says: please do not send channel links or other unsolicited messages to strangers. The Spam FAQ lists invite links to groups or channels among the things people report, and says a first limit is likely to last a few days or so. Telegram gives no number of reports that triggers a limit.
