Telegram ads TON, euro and Stars: who you actually pay

By 13 min read

Short answer. Telegram Ads TON payment is the self-serve route: log in at ads.telegram.org, choose Add Funds, and pay on Fragment from a TON wallet. Telegram's getting-started page sets the minimum CPM at 0.1 Toncoin, and the front page now names the coin Gram. Euro cabinets come through resellers with their own minimums and fees. Unspent balance cannot be refunded or withdrawn.

Telegram ads TON is the name searchers give to one product sold three ways. A crypto wallet funds the self-serve cabinet through Fragment. A reseller opens a euro cabinet and invoices in EUR with its own commission. A channel owner can spend the Telegram Stars that channel has earned. All three buy the same sponsored messages, and each has different rules for money going in and coming back out.

Most pages ranking for the phrase are written by resellers selling the euro route or by ad-spy tools. Their figures disagree: one puts the euro entry point at €2, another at €2,000, a third at €2 million. This guide to telegram ads ton payment quotes Telegram's own Ad Platform pages, the Fragment terms, the Telegram Stars API reference and the Terms of Service for Content Creators, all read on 17 October 2026. Reseller terms are quoted from each reseller and labelled as theirs. For what the ad unit is and how its statuses work, see the platform's statuses and guideline clauses. Prices have their own page, what Telegram publishes about ad prices.

What are Telegram ads in TON?

Telegram ads in TON are sponsored messages bought on ads.telegram.org with the TON blockchain's native coin. Telegram's getting-started page describes the platform as "a tool to create sponsored messages in public one-to-many channels with 1000+ subscribers", and the self-serve balance is topped up only through Fragment. The coin was called Toncoin until June 2026. Telegram's own pages now call it Gram.

The rename explains much of the confusion around telegram ads toncoin searches. Exchanges including Bitso describe Toncoin becoming Gram, ticker GRAM, from 15 June 2026, with balances and addresses unchanged and the network still called TON. On 17 October 2026 the ads.telegram.org front page read "You can pay for your ad with Gram", while the getting-started page still said "The minimum CPM for a sponsored message is 0.1 Toncoin". Fragment's ads page asks advertisers to pay "using your Grams (GRAM)". The three words name one coin.

"Use your cryptowallet to pay for ads to be displayed in public broadcast channels on Telegram."Fragment, fragment.com/ads

One scam follows from the rename. Any message offering to "migrate" or "convert" TON to Gram, or to claim free Gram for an ad account, is selling a step that the exchanges' rename notices say does not exist. A search for telegram ads ton free returns the same pattern: Telegram's pages describe no free credit, no bonus balance and no trial budget. The getting-started page does allow ads to be published "without a budget to get a feel for the platform", which costs nothing and shows nothing to anyone.

Telegram ton ads, euro cabinets and Stars: which pays for what

Telegram ton ads are bought in the advertiser's own self-serve cabinet, funded in Gram through Fragment. A euro cabinet is an account a reseller opens and funds, billed to the advertiser in EUR with commission and tax added. A Stars ad account is a separate cabinet that spends the Stars a channel or bot has earned. Same ad unit, three billing relationships.

Three ways to fund Telegram ads, by documented terms
RouteWho you payEntry pointWhere the rule is written

Euro cabinet via resellerThe resellereLama: €250 budget, €366 first payment with feesThe reseller's own pages
Euro cabinet directTelegrameLama reports €2 million, with €1 million held as depositA reseller's account of the terms; Telegram publishes none
Stars ad accountNobody new: the channel's own Stars are spentThe Stars balance the channel or bot has earnedcore.telegram.org/api/stars; Content Creator terms 4.1

The telegram ads ton route is the only one where Telegram itself states the price floor. The euro figures come from resellers. Telegram publishes no euro minimum, and no page on ads.telegram.org mentions EUR at all. That gap is why a search for telegram euro ads finds such different numbers: each one describes a different seller's contract.

How to pay for Telegram ads with TON on Fragment

To pay for Telegram ads with TON, log in at ads.telegram.org, open Budget and choose Add Funds on Fragment. Fragment then asks you to connect a TON wallet and enter the amount in Grams. Fragment's terms describe the platform as "solely a means of funding your advertiser account", so the Gram leaves your wallet and becomes ad balance inside Telegram's system. There is no card checkout on this route.

  1. Get a TON wallet. Fragment names Tonkeeper and MyTonWallet and links a full list of supported wallets.
  2. Buy Gram. Fragment points to exchanges such as OKX and Bybit, or to buying with a bank card through listed services. The exchange, not Telegram, runs any identity check at this step.
  3. Move the coin to your wallet. Fragment's about page warns that "if you don't insert the correct wallet address, your funds may be lost".
  4. Log in at ads.telegram.org. Enter the account's phone number; the platform confirms the login with a message inside Telegram from its verified service account.
  5. Choose Budget, then Add Funds on Fragment. Connect Telegram and TON Connect on Fragment, enter the budget in Grams and confirm in the wallet.

The telegram ads fragment step is a one-way transfer. Fragment's terms state that transactions on the TON blockchain "cannot be reversed", and the Ad Platform terms then treat the balance as advance-paid credit. Check the wallet connected on Fragment before confirming: the same Fragment session is used for Premium, usernames and creator rewards, and Fragment's terms make choosing the right wallet the user's responsibility.

Fragment's ads page now has a second button. Besides "Pay for Ads", a "For Sponsors" option reads "Use Grams to sponsor posts on Telegram by making offers to public channel admins". That is a paid post agreed with a channel's admin, not a sponsored message from the ad platform, and the CPM rules below do not apply to it.

How to set up Telegram ads once the balance is funded

How to set up Telegram ads after funding: choose Create Ad, write a title, up to 160 characters of text and a button link, set the CPM and the budget, enter the channels to show in, and submit. Telegram's getting-started page requires every link to go to "a channel or bot on Telegram". It also states that targeting "can't be changed" once the ad is created. Plan the channel list before you submit.

Two choices made at setup decide what happens to the money later. The first is the account: a Personal Account, or an Organization built around a group or channel, which only that chat's owner can create and which every admin of it can then manage. Balance sits with the account, and clause 4.3 of the terms bars moving it "to a different Account". The second is the budget per ad. Telegram's page states it is "not possible to decrease the budget of an ad once it has been submitted"; deleting the ad returns the rest to the account's overall budget.

The destination matters as much as the ad. A sponsored message that sends people to a bot needs that bot to answer them on arrival, and an auto reply on the destination bot is cheaper than paying for starts that land in silence. A channel destination needs posts already queued, which is the job of scheduling the channel's own posts. Businesses selling inside Telegram can compare the ad route with Telegram Business features for selling, which costs nothing per view.

CPM in TON: the floor and what it buys

Telegram ads CPM in TON starts at 0.1 Toncoin for one thousand views, the only price figure Telegram publishes for the self-serve cabinet. CPM is a bid in an auction, not a fixed rate: the terms say an ad is served when "the Advertiser's CPM bid wins the Auction for a particular Publication Space". Popular channels clear well above the floor, and Telegram publishes no average.

Anyone comparing cpm in ton telegram ads with a euro cabinet, or pricing telegram ton ads against a reseller quote, has to convert at that day's Gram rate, and the comparison moves with the coin. A euro cabinet's CPM is set in EUR. ppc.world reported on 27 August 2026, citing eLama, that the minimum euro CPM for ads in channels, bots and search shown in Russia fell from €1 to €0.15. That is a reseller-market floor for one country, not a figure Telegram publishes. Clause 3.2(f) of the Ad Platform terms lets Telegram change the minimum CPM at any time.

A low floor does not mean low cost. A CPM bid that loses the auction buys nothing, and the statistics tab reports only views plus the joins or bot starts that followed. Agencies that promise a fixed price per subscriber are pricing their own margin on top of that auction. Before hiring one, it is worth reading what an ads agency actually sells.

Telegram ads euro account: direct terms and resellers

A Telegram ads euro account is a cabinet billed in EUR instead of crypto. Telegram publishes no euro terms. Resellers describe direct euro access as €2 million minimum with €1 million frozen as deposit, and offer their own euro cabinets from a few hundred euros, plus a commission of 20 to 30% and VAT. The reseller funds Telegram and invoices you.

eLama, a Russian ad-tech reseller, publishes the most specific terms. Its top-up guide states direct funding requires €2 million with €1 million frozen, and that through a reseller "the minimum budget falls to €250". Its November 2023 terms page gives the worked first payment: €250 plus €50 commission plus €66 VAT equals €366. Commission is 20% for most topics, 25% for education and 30% for cryptocurrency. eLama says it holds its internal euro rate for five to seven days.

Searches for elama telegram ads, click ru telegram ads and netpeak telegram ads look for the same thing: a telegram ads euro cabinet with a small first deposit. Click.ru resells Telegram Ads in the same market. On 17 October 2026 its Telegram Ads page returned a 404 to our reader, and the terms quoted for it by review sites mix several resellers' numbers. Netpeak, a Ukrainian agency group, sells managed campaigns. Its fee for that service was not on a page we could read. For both, ask for the minimum, commission and currency rate in writing before signing.

Three points hold for every telegram eur ads account, whoever opens it. The reseller is your contracting party, so refunds of unspent money depend on the reseller's contract rather than on Telegram's clause 4.3. Moderation is still Telegram's, under the same guidelines. And topic surcharges are the reseller's: Telegram's own terms set no different price by topic.

Telegram ads Stars: paying from a channel's own balance

Telegram ads Stars lets a channel or bot spend the Stars it has earned on ads for itself. The Telegram Stars API reference states that channel owners can "withdraw Stars as Gram, or use Stars to place ads for the channel". A dedicated method, payments.getStarsRevenueAdsAccountUrl, "returns a URL for a Telegram Ad platform account" for that channel or bot, "paid using the Telegram Stars owned by the specified peer".

The Terms of Service for Content Creators, clause 4.1, confirm the use: "You may use your accrued Star balance to place Telegram advertisements". The same clause sets the timing: "Gram balance rewards become available for withdrawal 2 days after the date they were accrued, while Star balance rewards require 21 days". A channel that wants to fund its own ads from Stars therefore works on a three-week delay.

Bought Stars are different. The Telegram Stars terms state that "All sales of Telegram Stars are final", and Stars in a personal balance may not be sold, withdrawn or transferred outside the uses Telegram lists. The Stars ad account draws on a channel's or bot's earned revenue. Claims that a Stars ad account carries a fixed CPM discount circulate on vendor posts; no Telegram page we read states one.

Telegram ads KYC: what can be asked, and by whom

Telegram ads KYC happens in up to three places, and each runs its own check. Telegram's Ad Platform terms let it request documents on an advertiser's legal status and suspend service until they arrive. Exchanges selling Gram run their own identity checks, and buyers of telegram ads ton balance usually meet that check first. 2026 press reports describe Fragment checking identity before some purchases and withdrawals. Logging in to the cabinet itself needs only a Telegram account.

Clause 3.2(d) of the Ad Platform terms is the widest. It allows Telegram to "request any supporting documentation on Advertiser's legal status, including, but not limited to, its constitutional documents, tax numbers, residency" and to suspend the account until the documents satisfy it. Clause 3.2(c) covers licences for regulated goods and services. Neither clause names a trigger, a threshold or a deadline.

Fragment's terms, read the same day, do not use the word KYC. Its about page says only that exchanges "may ask for a form of identification". Russian outlets including anti-malware.ru reported on 14 May 2026 that withdrawals through Fragment require an identity check first. Treat that as reported, not documented, and expect a check before a large first deposit.

Telegram ads refund and withdrawing TON

A Telegram ads refund is not available on the self-serve cabinet. Clause 4.3 of the Ad Platform terms states that "unspent Balance cannot be withdrawn by the Advertiser, transferred to a different Account, or refunded". Deleting or stopping an ad returns its unspent budget to the account balance, where it can only fund other ads. After three years of inactivity, clause 4.4 says the remaining balance is forfeit.

So a telegram ads withdraw ton request has no route for advertisers. Withdrawal through Fragment exists for the other side of the market: channel owners collecting their 50% share of ad revenue. Fragment's terms say those rewards "are issued as Grams ($GRAM)" by default, and that a withdrawal "cannot be undone". Telegram's March 2024 announcement set the share at 50% for public channels with at least 1000 subscribers.

Anyone offering to "release" or "withdraw" a telegram ads ton balance for a fee is offering something the terms rule out. The practical control is to fund in small amounts. Because the platform lets ads sit unfunded as drafts, there is no reason to top up more than one test's worth before the ad clears review.

Telegram ads not working or stuck in review

When Telegram ads are not working, the status line names the cause. Stopped means no budget or a spent budget. Declined means the ad must change, with the guideline linked inside the ad. On Hold means it was paused. In Review means Telegram's team is still checking it, and clause 3.2(a) of the terms states Telegram is not "bound by any time frames in conducting a review".

A telegram ads stuck in review case has no published deadline to escalate against. The documented actions are limited. Edits to title, text and URL are allowed at any time, and clause 3.4(b) says changes are "usually applied after fifteen (15) minutes, but no later than in sixty (60) minutes". A changed targeting list needs Create a similar ad, which submits a fresh ad. Repeated resubmission of the same text does not appear anywhere as a way to speed review.

Destinations are the usual decline reason. The guidelines require the button to lead to a Telegram channel or bot, and section 5.11 bars "social media growth manipulation" and services "for inflating metrics/followers, sending automated content". Ads for SMM panels selling views, spammer tools, member add bots or mass-report bots fall inside that clause. The same applies to message sender tools built to cold-DM, to scraped member lists, and to services adding members by hand or by tool.

Telegram ads support: where to ask

Telegram ads support has no published contact on ads.telegram.org: the getting-started page, guidelines and terms name no email, form or chat. ppc.world reported in August 2026 that advertisers had found @AdSupport, a bot whose profile shows it as marked official by Telegram, answering in Russian. Its editors wrote to it and had no reply after 40 minutes. Euro-cabinet clients go to their reseller first.

A telegram ads support chat is also where impersonators work. Check that any account claiming to be ad support carries Telegram's official mark before sending anything, and never send a wallet seed phrase, login code or Fragment session to anyone. Telegram's login to the ad platform arrives as a message from its verified service account. A stranger has no reason to ask for it. Declined ads already carry their explanation inside the cabinet, so read it before contacting anyone.

What Telegram does not publish

Telegram publishes no minimum deposit for the TON cabinet, no euro terms, no review time, no support address, no country list for advertisers and no rule on when documents are requested. Reseller figures fill those gaps, and they disagree because each describes its own contract. A missing figure is the honest answer, not a vendor's number repeated as Telegram's. Most pages ranking for ton ads telegram searches fill these rows with a reseller's terms.

When ton ads on Telegram are the wrong tool

Ton ads on Telegram are the wrong tool when the destination is outside Telegram, when the budget cannot be lost if a campaign is declined, or when the offer falls under section 5 of the guidelines. They also fail to reach people who are not in the channels you pick. Targeting is by channel only, and Telegram says its ads "are not based on user data".

Sponsored messages are also no substitute for an audience you already have permission to message. A bot can send to people who started it. It cannot start conversations itself, and private messages from a user account to strangers hit the mutual-contacts-only error. Paid views top up a channel's reach; organic subscriber growth is what keeps the people who arrive. Consent law on commercial messages applies on top of anything Telegram's terms permit.

Where ads do fit, plan them as part of the whole growth budget, with the landing channel, the follow-up bot and the measurement agreed before any Gram is moved. Our growth marketing service scopes campaigns that way.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pay for Telegram ads with TON?

Log in at ads.telegram.org with your Telegram account, open Budget and choose Add Funds on Fragment. Connect a TON wallet such as Tonkeeper or MyTonWallet on Fragment, enter the budget in Grams and confirm the transfer in the wallet. Fragment's terms describe it as solely a means of funding the advertiser account, and TON transactions cannot be reversed.

Is Toncoin the same as Gram for Telegram ads?

Yes. Exchanges including Bitso describe Toncoin being renamed Gram, ticker GRAM, from 15 June 2026, with balances and addresses unchanged. On 17 October 2026 the ads.telegram.org front page said ads are paid with Gram, while the getting-started page still stated the minimum CPM as 0.1 Toncoin. No migration step exists, so offers to convert TON to Gram are scams.

What is the minimum CPM for Telegram ads in TON?

Telegram's getting-started page states that the minimum CPM for a sponsored message is 0.1 Toncoin, the price for one thousand views. CPM is a bid in an auction, so popular channels clear above the floor. Clause 3.2(f) of the Ad Platform Terms of Service lets Telegram change the minimum CPM, and Telegram publishes no average CPM.

Can I get a refund or withdraw TON from my Telegram ads balance?

No. Clause 4.3 of the Telegram Ad Platform Terms of Service states that unspent balance cannot be withdrawn by the advertiser, transferred to a different account, or refunded. Deleting an ad returns its remaining budget to the account balance, where it can only fund other ads. Withdrawals through Fragment exist for channel owners collecting ad revenue, not for advertisers.

How do I get a Telegram ads euro account?

Through a reseller. Telegram publishes no euro terms, and EUR appears on no ads.telegram.org page. The reseller eLama describes direct euro access as 2 million euros with 1 million frozen as deposit, and offers its own cabinet from a 250 euro budget plus 20 to 30% commission and VAT. The reseller becomes your contracting party for invoices and refunds.

Can I pay for Telegram ads with Stars?

A channel or bot can spend the Stars it has earned. The Telegram Stars API reference says channel owners can use Stars to place ads for the channel, and the method payments.getStarsRevenueAdsAccountUrl returns an ad account paid with the Stars that channel or bot owns. The Content Creator terms say Star rewards become available after 21 days, against 2 days for Gram rewards.

Does Telegram ads require KYC?

Logging in needs only a Telegram account. Clause 3.2(d) of the Ad Platform terms lets Telegram request documents on an advertiser's legal status, tax numbers and residency, and suspend the account until they arrive, with no stated trigger. Exchanges selling Gram run their own identity checks, and 2026 press reports describe Fragment checking identity before some withdrawals.

Why is my Telegram ad stuck in review?

Telegram sets no review deadline: clause 3.2(a) of the Ad Platform terms says it is not bound by any time frames in conducting a review. Edits to title, text and URL usually apply after 15 minutes and no later than 60, under clause 3.4(b). If the ad is declined, opening it shows the explanation and the guideline it breaks.

How do I contact Telegram ads support?

Telegram's ad platform pages publish no email, form or chat. In August 2026 ppc.world reported an @AdSupport bot shown as marked official by Telegram and answering in Russian, which did not reply to its editors within 40 minutes. Euro-cabinet clients should contact their reseller first. Never send a login code, wallet seed phrase or Fragment session to anyone claiming to be support.
